فطرت کو خرد کے روبرو کر
(Fitrat ko khirad ke rubaroo kar)

تسخیر مقام رنگ و بو کر
(Taskheer-e-maqam-e-rang-o-boo kar)

تو اپنی خودی کو کھو چکا ہے
(Tu apni khudi ko kho chuka hai)

کھوئی ہوئی شے کی جستجو کر
(Khoi hui shay ki justuju kar)

تاروں کی فضا ہے بیکرانہ
(Taaron ki faza hai be-karaana)

تو بھی یہ مقام آرزو کر
(Tu bhi yeh maqam aarzu kar)

عریاں ہیں ترے چمن کی حوریں
(Aryaan hain tere chaman ki hoorain)

چاک گل و لالہ کو رفو کر
(Chaak-e-gul-o-laala ko rafuu kar)

بے ذوق نہیں اگرچہ فطرت
(Be-zauq nahin agarche fitrat)

جو اس سے نہ ہو سکا وہ تو کر
(Jo us se na ho saka, woh tu kar)

Translation:
Bring nature face to face with reason.
Conquer the realm of color and fragrance.
You have lost your sense of self.
Seek what has been lost.
The world of stars is boundless.
You too must desire such heights.
The maidens of your garden stand exposed.
Mend the torn petals of rose and tulip.
Nature is not without beauty.
But what it could not achieve, you must.
