ترے عشق کی انتہا چاہتا ہوں
I long for the depths of your love,

مری سادگی دیکھ کیا چاہتا ہوں
See my simplicity, what I dream of.

ستم ہو کہ ہو وعدۂ بے حجابی
Between cruelty and the promise of truth,

کوئی بات صبر آزما چاہتا ہوں
I want someone to test my patience, forsooth.

کوئی دم کا مہماں ہوں اے اہل محفل
Let me be a fleeting guest in the midst,

چراغ سحر ہوں بجھا چاہتا ہوں
To extinguish the morning's light, I persist.

بھری بزم میں راز کی بات کہہ دی
I revealed a secret in the crowded space,
